Deep red with purple hues. Lifted aromas of mulberry and blackberry with an underlying hint of plum. Intense and elegant with a wonderful mouth feel and great length. Plum, spice and blackberry and even blackcurrant. Almost seamless oak and tannin balance.

The grapes were sourced from the southerly reaches of Langhorne Creek. The grapes were harvested in the cool of the evening then crushed into static fermenters and inoculated with a selected yeast strain. Open fermented on skins for 7 days with temperature control between 18 to 28 degrees Celsius. Once optimum colour and flavour was extracted the wine was drained and pressed. After malolactic fermentation was complete the wine was racked and filtered into oak for maturation.
